Trespass
Skip-it - It's Hostage meets Panic Room plus The Stepford Wives minus creativity plus an R-rating starring Nicole Kidman but also including the typically-terrible acting of Nic Cage.
The Family Man
Skip-it - In the year 2000 Nicolas Cage was actually a reason to see movies, not skip them, and his performance in The Family Man is no different. However, this Christmas dram-com's script is predictable and lame, even for a sentimental holiday film. Skip this "It's a Wonderful Life" look-a-like and go rent that instead.

Season of the Witch
Skip-it - I am starting to feel like a broken record, but please, Nic Cage, please, stop making movies! How did you win an Oscar? Seriously? Season of the Witch is boring and ugly, so much so it can't even pass as one of those terrible movies you just have to see so you can laugh at how bad it is.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
Rent-it - Nicolas Cage is the most hot-and-cold, hit-or-miss actor in Hollywood, but when he is hot, no one compares. In Bad Lieutenant
, Cage plays a bad cop, along side his partner (Val Kilmer) and prostitute "girl-friend" (Eva Mendes) in a post-Hurricane-Katrina New Orleans, and this Cage-character is more brilliantly unhinged than any role he's ever conquered before (including, Leaving Las Vegas
and Adaptation
combined).
