Rent-it - Visually it holds up, and this Freddy may be better than Englund's version, but, unfortunately, this NOES reboot is lacking the twists and depth of story that made the original so terrifyingly great.

is one the best horror films ever, and though the sequels weren't great (except for Wes Craven's New Nightmare), this original is being rebooted and will be in theaters soon, so remind yourself how high the bar is set before venturing to theaters in a couple weeks.
